Private Antenatal Hypnobirthing Courses
4 weeks to stop fearing labour and start feeling prepared, supported and able to cope with whatever unfolds
ONLINE OR IN-PERSON SESSIONS AVAILABLE
You’re here because…
You’re already feeling nervous about pain, interventions, or not knowing how you’ll cope and hearing lots of conflicting birth stories isn’t helping.
Appointments can feel rushed, full of unfamiliar language and you often leave with more questions than answers.
You’re worried about being asked to make decisions quickly, without really understanding your options or what they mean for you.
And you’ve tried to prepare by googling, listening to podcasts and saving TikTok’s, but still don’t feel mentally ready for what birth might actually be like in the moment.
Maybe you need to know everything about birth to feel ready (you don’t).
Maybe going in with no plan will help you stay calm (it usually does the opposite).
Maybe your midwife will explain everything when the time comes (there isn’t time).
Or maybe… you don’t need more Googling or vague reassurance.
You need clarity, coping tools and confidence in your choices.
My Private Antenatal Hypnobirthing Course is for the mums-to-be who:
Want to feel informed, calmer and more confident as birth approaches
Are first-time mums who feel unsure where to start, or mums preparing after a previous difficult birth and want this time to feel different
Are tired of Googling, reading and listening to everything… and still wondering “will I actually cope?”
Want to understand their options so decisions don’t feel rushed or confusing in the moment
Want their birth partner to feel prepared, involved and able to support and advocate for them
It’s your turn to…
-1-
Stop guessing and actually know how to prepare for birth
Not just ‘do hypnobirthing’ or ‘stay calm’ but knowing what to focus on, what to practice and what actually matters between now and birth.
We’ll combine mindset work with practical tools so you feel emotionally and physically prepared, instead of hoping you’ve done enough.
-2-
Have ongoing support that adapts as things change
Because birth prep isn’t a one-and-done thing. Appointments happen. New information comes up. Plans shift. Questions pop into your head at the most inconvenient times.
But you’ll have ongoing, tailored support so you can talk things through, make sense of what you’ve been told and adjust your preparation without panic or second-guessing yourself.
-3-
Know what to do if birth doesn’t go to plan
You’ll be clear on your options, your choices and how the maternity system works, so decisions don’t feel rushed or confusing.
Instead of feeling overwhelmed, you’ll know how to stay involved, ask the right questions, and move through birth feeling informed and supported (whatever direction it takes).
In just 4 weeks’ time…
You won’t be spiralling about labour or wondering if you’ve done ‘enough’
You’ll understand what’s happening in your body, know how to cope when things get intense and feel clearer about your options and choices.
The best part?
You’ll have a completely personalised birth toolkit, shaped around your preferences, your needs, and your pregnancy, PLUS the confidence to adapt calmly if plans change.
Hi, I’m Holly
And if birth preparation is feeling overwhelming right now, you’re not alone.
I’ve had two very different birth experiences myself. One involved induction where I didn’t fully understand what was happening or feel part of the decision making. The other became an emergency too, but felt completely different because I understood my options, knew what to expect and felt involved every step of the way.
That contrast really stayed with me.
I’ve also been a mental health therapist for over eight years, so I’ve seen first hand how much fear, uncertainty and pressure can affect how we cope. Especially in moments like birth. The mind and body are deeply connected and when one feels supported, the other follows.
And here’s the thing I really want you to know:
You don’t need a perfect birth plan.
You don’t need to know everything about labour.
And you definitely don’t need to ‘just go with the flow’ and hope for the best.
What helps most is preparation that actually fits you.
Clear, honest information.
Practical tools you can rely on.
And support that helps you feel steadier and more confident as birth approaches (whatever direction it takes)
That’s why I do this work.
Because I remember sitting in appointments that felt rushed, walking out with more questions than answers. And I’ve seen (both personally and professionally) how different birth can feel when you’re informed, supported and part of what’s happening.
When Mums work with me, they’re not chasing a ‘perfect’ birth.
They want to feel prepared, supported and able to cope.
And that’s what we focus on, together.
But wait… what if things go wrong?
This is one of the biggest worries I hear and it makes complete sense. Birth is unpredictable. Plans can change. Interventions may be needed.
This course isn’t about avoiding that reality.
It’s about helping you feel prepared for it.
We focus on:
- Understanding your options before you’re under pressure
- Knowing how decisions are made within the maternity system
- Learning how to ask questions and advocate for yourself
- How to stay calm and grounded if things don’t go as expected
So if plans change, you’re not panicking or shutting down.
You’re informed, involved and supported.
How it works
My private hypnobirthing antenatal course, is delivered over four sessions, each lasting around 2/2.5 hours.
The sessions can be done online, or in person if you live in the North East, UK and are scheduled at days/times to suit you. You would select your chosen days/times when booking.
We move at your pace and tailor everything to you. Before we meet, I’ll ask about your pregnancy so far and anything you’d like more support with. Especially areas that feel uncertain or worrying, so our sessions are shaped around that.
Over the four sessions we’ll focus on:
-
We cover how birth works, what’s normal and how your mind and body responds in labour.
This is where things start to feel less scary and more understandable.
-
We focus on practical pain management tools, breathing techniques, relaxation strategies and mindset work.
So you’ll know exactly how to cope when things get intense.
-
We look at birth options, interventions and how the maternity system works.
You’ll know what to ask, how to make decisions and what to do if plans change.
-
You’ll learn what to expect in the hours after birth and how to prepare emotionally and physically for the postpartum period.
you’ll also get:
A hypnobirthing kit sent straight to your door, with everything you need to practice comfortably at home
Access to my online resources, including postpartum care guides, baby care guides and additional workshops to support you beyond birth
Hypnobirthing and relaxation audios you can use during pregnancy, labour and whenever you need to ground yourself
Ongoing support via WhatsApp or voice note throughout your pregnancy, so questions don’t pile up and you’re not left second guessing yourself
A 37 week check in to go through any last minute changes or questions and to make sure you’re feeling confident as our approach labour

Why a private hypnobirthing course with Birth Then Baby makes a difference
I’m not here to tell you how to give birth.
I’m here to help you work out what feels right for you. With clarity, support and space to think things through.
A private hypnobirthing course with Birth Then Baby means your preparation is built around you, not a one-size-fits-all approach or a set way of doing things.
We go at your pace.
We focus on what matters most to you.
And we adapt as things change.
If something comes up in an appointment and leaves you unsure, we talk it through.
If plans shift, your preparation shifts with them.
And if one part of birth feels particularly worrying, we slow down and work with it properly.
This isn’t about creating the ‘perfect’ birth.
It’s about feeling informed, supported and prepared, whatever direction your birth takes.
You can learn about birth anywhere now.
But learning isn’t the same as feeling prepared.
This private course is about calm, personal support, so you’re not figuring it out alone.

Yes! Especially if you’re feeling overwhelmed or unsure where to start. This course gives you a clear, supportive foundation so you’re not trying to piece things together on your own.
-
This is a gentle, supportive space to prepare differently this time.
We go at your pace and shape the sessions around what you need, including space to talk things through if past experiences arise.
As a trained mental health therapist, I’m experienced in recognising when something may need extra care and supporting you in a safe, grounded way.
-
Not at all.
This course supports all types of birth. From home birth, induction birth, VBAC’s to caesarean births. That’s the beauty of personalised courses, we can adapt things to whatever you’re planning (and work that out if you’re not sure of your options).
-
You’ll have four private sessions (2.5–3 hours each), plus time to practice in between. Most of the tools fit easily into everyday life, so it doesn’t feel like ANOTHER thing to do in your pregnancy.
-
You’ll have ongoing support between sessions and right up until birth, so you can check things through as questions come up or plans change. This support is offered in a clear, contained way so it feels helpful and manageable for both of us.
-
Yes! Birth partners are encouraged to attend the sessions. We focus on how they can support you practically and emotionally and how to advocate for you if needed.
-
That’s exactly what we prepare for. You’ll understand your options, how decisions are made and how to stay grounded and involved if things don’t go to plan.
-
Yes! If you want space to reflect on your birth experience afterwards, that support is there. You don’t need to rush past it or process it on your own.
This isn’t a formal birth debrief, but a gentle, supportive check-in to see how you’re doing and help you make sense of things if you want to.
I can also support you to access any additional help you might need postpartum. Whether that’s something like breastfeeding support or mental health support, so you’re not left figuring it out alone.
