Soothing touch for them, a sigh of relief for you

Baby Massage Classes across North Tyneside + Northumberland

A little calm for them. A little calm for you.

If you’re here, I’m guessing you’ve recently had a baby - so first up: massive congratulations. Whether it’s your first or your third, becoming a mum is magical, messy, overwhelming and wow, no one told me I could feel this many things in one day.

So let me just say this: you’re doing a brilliant job. Truly.

And while you’re busy looking after this tiny human around the clock, I want to remind you of something gentle but important - you matter too. Your wellbeing. Your nervous system. Your cup of tea that’s been reheated four times.

That’s why these baby massage classes exist.

Yes, we’ll learn beautiful techniques to help your baby feel relaxed, bonded and soothed. But it’s also a weekly pause for you. A safe, calm, non-judgy space where you can breathe, reset and remember that you’re still in there too (buried underneath the muslins and the dry shampoo).

If baby classes make you want to hide, you’ll feel at home here

What actually happens in a baby massage class?

Each week, we’ll walk through easy-to-follow massage routines you can use at home. They’re designed to support things like:

  • Wind and colic

  • Teething discomfort

  • Better sleep

  • Tummy troubles (yep, the legendary baby poo talk happens here)

But just as importantly, these classes give you something back:

  • A moment to pause and reconnect with your baby (without multitasking)

  • Connection with other lovely Mams who get it

  • Permission to just show up as you are - messy bun, late, baby crying… it’s all welcome

This isn’t a “sit still and be perfect” kind of class. You can feed, change, rock, bounce, cry - whatever your baby (or you!) need, we roll with it.

When was the last time you checked in on you?

A baby massage class set up in North Tyneside

I’m not just here to show you how to massage your baby. I’m also a registered mental health therapist and I care deeply about how you’re doing.

These classes offer more than just routines. They’re a safe space to check in with yourself, share what’s on your mind (if you want to) and feel genuinely seen and supported - no judgement, no “I should be doing xyz better.”

We start with a few calming breaths and I gently hold space each week for whatever’s going on. Whether that’s joy, overwhelm, rage-crying in the car, or just needing to ask “is this normal?”

And throughout the course, I’ll share simple techniques, tips and mindset tools to help you navigate this wildly transforming time - whether you’re a brand-new Mam or adding another baby to the mix.

Because baby massage is about connection and that starts with you feeling grounded, supported and never alone in it.

A little note from me if you’re feeling unsure…

Starting a new class can feel a bit daunting, especially when you’re sleep-deprived and not totally sure what day it is.

But you don’t need to be in a “good routine”. You don’t need a chilled baby. You don’t even need to brush your hair (though you can if you want).

You just need to come as you are. I’ll meet you there. See you on the mat?
