1. ABOUT US
These are the Terms and Conditions for Birth Then Baby, operated by Holly Richardson.

2. SERVICES PROVIDED
Birth Then Baby provides online, group and private hypnobirthing and antenatal education courses for expectant parents.
Services may include:
Group hypnobirthing courses
Private 1:1 hypnobirthing sessions (online or in person)
Online hypnobirthing
Birth preparation education
Relaxation and mindset techniques
Birth partner preparation
Educational resources and support materials
Our services are educational and wellbeing focused in nature and are not a replacement for medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Any medical concerns should be discussed with your midwife, GP or healthcare provider.
3. BOOKING & PAYMENT
3.1 How to Book
Bookings can be made:
Via our website or booking system
By email
Via social media enquiry
3.2 Payment Methods
We accept payment via:
Bank transfer
Card payment
Payment plans where agreed
Paypal
3.3 When Payment is Due
Group Courses
A £50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. Remaining balances must be paid no later than 3 weeks before your first session.
Private Hypnobirthing Courses
A £50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. Remaining balances must be paid no later than 3 weeks before your first session.
3.4 Payment Plans
Payment plans may be available for selected services. All balances must be paid in full before the final session takes place.
3.5 Confirmation
Your booking is confirmed once payment (or deposit where applicable) has been received and you have received confirmation from Birth Then Baby.
4. CANCELLATION POLICY
4.1 Cancellation by You
Group Courses
Cancellations made 14 or more days before the course start date will receive a refund minus any non-refundable booking fees.
Cancellations made within 14 days of the course start date are non-refundable.
If you are unable to attend, your place may be transferred to a future course at the discretion of Birth Then Baby.
Private Hypnobirthing
The £50 deposit is non-refundable.
Cancellations made within 3 weeks of the first scheduled session are non-refundable.
Rescheduling requests will be accommodated where possible.
4.2 Cancellation by Us
Birth Then Baby reserves the right to cancel or rearrange sessions due to illness, emergency, venue issues, or insufficient bookings.
If this happens, you will be offered:
An alternative date
Transfer to another course
Or a full refund
Birth Then Baby is not responsible for additional costs incurred such as childcare, accommodation or travel.
4.3 Pregnancy & Birth Considerations
We understand pregnancy and birth can be unpredictable.
If unexpected medical circumstances prevent attendance, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to offer a suitable alternative where reasonably possible.
4.4 Rearranging Private Sessions
We understand pregnancy, work and family life can be unpredictable. If you need to rearrange a private session, please provide at least 48 hours notice where possible.
One rearrangement per booking can usually be accommodated free of charge, subject to availability. Additional rearrangements or cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice may result in the session being forfeited or an additional fee being charged.
If unexpected pregnancy or medical circumstances arise, please contact us as soon as possible and we will always do our best to support you where reasonably possible.
5. HEALTH & SAFETY
5.1 Your Responsibility
By attending classes, you confirm that:
You are participating voluntarily
You have disclosed any relevant medical information
You will seek medical advice where appropriate
You understand hypnobirthing does not guarantee a specific birth outcome
5.2 Participating at Your Own Risk
All relaxation, breathing and practical comfort techniques are taught for educational purposes. You remain responsible for your own decisions, medical care and birth choices throughout pregnancy and birth.
6. ATTENDANCE & CONDUCT
Please arrive on time where possible to avoid disruption to the group.
Birth Then Baby aims to provide a supportive, inclusive and respectful environment for all attendees. Disruptive, abusive or inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from sessions without refund.
7. PHOTOGRAPHY & SOCIAL MEDIA
Photos or videos may occasionally be taken for marketing purposes.
No identifiable images of attendees will be shared publicly without explicit permission.
You are welcome to take personal photos during sessions, but please respect the privacy of other attendees.
8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All course materials, recordings, guides, handouts and resources remain the intellectual property of Birth Then Baby.
Materials are for personal use only and may not be copied, distributed, shared or reproduced without written permission.
9. LIABILITY
Birth Then Baby provides educational antenatal education and wellbeing support only and does not provide medical care.
While all reasonable care is taken to provide accurate and evidence-informed information, Birth Then Baby cannot guarantee specific outcomes relating to pregnancy, labour, birth or postpartum experiences.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
10. DATA PROTECTION & PRIVACY
Personal information provided during booking will be stored securely and handled in accordance with UK GDPR legislation.
Information collected may include:
Name and contact details
Pregnancy information relevant to the course
Booking and payment information
Your information will never be sold to third parties.

We aim to respond within 2 working days and resolve concerns as fairly and quickly as possible.
12. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
By booking with Birth Then Baby, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
