I know, I know… hypnobirthing sounds a bit out there

I get it. I used to think it was just breathing, visualisations and whale music too.

But with 14 years in psychology and a background as a mental health therapist, I’m here for what actually works - no fluff and definitely no one-size-fits-all advice.

You’ll learn how your body works in labour, how your brain responds to stress and what to do when things don’t go to plan. This is about feeling calm, steady and confident - not about pretending everything will be perfect.

This isn’t a tick-box antenatal class that tells you how to give birth. Your body already knows what to do. My job is to help your mind stop getting in the way.

Because when fear kicks in, whether it’s from a past experience or something someone said at your 12 week scan - your nervous system panics. You tense up. And labour can feel longer, harder and more overwhelming than it needs to be.

I’ll show you how to work with your body using a mix of birth education, mindset tools, and calm, grounded support. You’ll learn how to stay steady, speak up and make choices that feel right for you - even if you’re not naturally someone who likes to rock the boat.

I used to ask the exact same thing.

During my first pregnancy, I didn’t do much prep. I thought I’d just go with the flow, because I couldn’t understand how those calm, twinkly-light birth videos could ever be me.

I’d watch people breathing through contractions with spa music playing and think - nope. That’s not happening. Calm births felt like something only super zen Mums had. The ones who weren’t up at 2am spiralling on Google.

But when things got hard, when my pregnancy took a turn or birth became intense, I had no idea how to handle it. I felt out of control, overwhelmed and completely unprepared. And that stuck with me.

But everything changed when I realised birth isn’t just physical. It’s mindset.
You can actually train your brain for birth, instead of just crossing your fingers and hoping for the best.

Before my second birth, I:

If you’d prefer to learn alongside other parents-to-be, this is for you.

My one day, group birth preparation gives you all the tools, understanding and support you need to feel confident for birth. All within a relaxed, welcoming space where you can learn together, ask questions and realise you’re not the only one feeling this way.

It’s informative, practical and genuinely supportive without feeling overwhelming or clinical.

The Confident Birth Club

A self-paced, pre-recorded course that gives you all the hypnobirthing tools, mindset shifts and real-talk birth prep you actually need.

Designed to fit into busy lives, with bite-sized lessons (just 10–15 minutes a day) that are easy to watch and even easier to put into practice.

  • Hypnobirthing is a practical approach to birth that combines relaxation techniques, breathing and mindset tools to help you feel calm, confident and more in control.

    It’s not about having a “perfect” birth - it’s about understanding how your body and mind work together, reducing fear and making informed choices that feel right for you, whatever path your birth takes.

  • There are no rules as to when you should start a hypnobirthing course. There are some things to practice in the run up to birth, so starting it early can give you the opportunity to do this. Most people start at between 20-35 weeks, but the option is yours.

    If you find hypnbirthing after 35 weeks, you may wish to choose The Confident Birth Club, so you can get watching right away!

  • This course is both a full antenatal class and a hypnobirthing course in one.

    You’ll get all the practical info - stages of labour, pain relief, birth choices, newborn care - plus the hypnobirthing tools, mindset support and confidence-building techniques to help you stay calm and in control.

    It’s everything you need to feel prepared, not just informed.

  • Each course runs differently.

    The online group course is 8 hours split over 4 weekly sessions.

    The private courses are up to 10 hours, usually split into four sessions.

    The Confident Birth Club is a self-paced course. Each video is between 5-15 minutes long, meaning you can do little chunks each day, or binge it in one weekend. Whatever works best for you!

  • Do not panic! I know that life can happen and things get in the way, so please just let me know if this is the case. You can do this via email, message or phone.

    I will be able to send you a recording of the session and answer any questions you might have after.

  • Of course!

    Although we do encourage birth partners to attend, as they will learn all of the information to best support you throughout your pregnancy and birth. However, we understand it is not always possible due to work/life commitments.

    We are able to tailor the activities for anyone attending on their own, so please do not worry about this.

  • Absolutely!

    Hypnobirthing has been designed with all types of births in mind. The courses include information on caesarean births and how to have a positive, gentle c-section.

    There are also tools and techniques you can use throughout the caesarean, to help you feel calm and empowered. I also have audios and relaxations designed specifically for caesarean births.

  • Yes! You can book your spot with a £50 deposit, then pay the remaining balance 3 weeks before the course starts. I also offer PayPal’s Pay in 3 option at checkout, which lets you split the total into three interest-free monthly payments.
