You want to feel
properly prepared for birth
But trying to piece everything together yourself can feel overwhelming, confusing and a bit like you’re just hoping it all works out fine on the day.
My birth preparation classes show you what to do in labour, so you can stop second guessing yourself and feel confident you’ll cope, even if things don’t go to plan.
Prefer to learn in your own time with the added bonus of live support when you need it?
Then The Confident Birth Club is what you’re looking for. A self-paced birth preparation course that covers everything from managing scan anxiety, to coping with baby blues after birth. And of course my signature hypnobirthing and antenatal bits too.
Hypnobirthing is a bit of a sh*t name for what it is
Because it makes it sound like it’s all breathing, affirmations and hoping for a calm, perfect birth.
When in reality, it’s about understanding how birth works, having practical tools to cope with labour and knowing how to make confident decisions even if things don’t go to plan.
And a huuuge part of my courses is showing you how to navigate the maternity system.
So you’re not left guessing what’s happening, rushed into decisions, or going along with things you don’t fully understand. Because you shouldn’t have to lose your autonomy in birth.

Private sessions are completely tailored to you. We'll cover everything you need to know about birth, labour, your options and practical coping tools. But we'll also spend more time on the things that matter most to you, whether that's anxiety, pain relief options, induction, previous birth experiences or building confidence.

-
Private sessions give you more flexibility, more personalised support and more time to ask questions. Everything is tailored to your pregnancy, your preferences and the type of birth you're hoping for, rather than following a set group structure.
-
Absolutely. Your birth partner is encouraged to attend every session and will learn practical ways to support you physically and emotionally throughout labour and birth, so they feel confident and involved too.
Sessions are arranged at days and times to suit your schedule

Many of the families I work with describe themselves as worriers, overthinkers or anxious.
Hypnobirthing isn't about pretending you're calm all the time. It's about understanding what's happening, learning practical tools to manage anxiety and building confidence in your ability to handle birth.
-
Not at all. Hypnobirthing can support you whether you're planning a home birth, hospital birth, induction, epidural or caesarean. The focus is on helping you feel informed, confident and prepared for whatever path your birth takes.
-
Alongside being a hypnobirthing and antenatal teacher, I'm also a registered mental health therapist. That means we don't just focus on birth itself. We also work on the worries, overthinking and confidence struggles that can make pregnancy feel overwhelming, so you leave feeling genuinely prepared, not just informed.

Most people join between 25-35weeks and book in advance to secure their space.
There isn’t really a set rule as to when you should join, but those who join earlier tend to get more out of it as they have more time to practice the techniques and use the information and decision making skills in their antenatal appointments.
-
Your place on the course includes a full birth preparation day for you and your birth partner, drinks and refreshments throughout the day, a luxury gift bag filled with practical resources for pregnancy and birth, access to my online resource library and ongoing WhatsApp support throughout your pregnancy.
You'll also receive a hypnobirthing workbook, affirmation cards, a birth comb and aromatherapy products from Take Five Aromatherapy, plus guided relaxations, printable cheat sheets, recommended reading and birth videos to help you continue your preparation at home.

One of the biggest misconceptions about hypnobirthing is that it's only useful if you're planning an unmedicated or straightforward birth. In reality, the tools and techniques can be helpful regardless of how your baby is born.
Whether you're having an induction, epidural, assisted birth or caesarean birth, my courses can help you stay calm, understand your options, make informed decisions and feel more confident throughout the process.
We cover all birth options in the course so you can feel prepared no matter how your baby arrives.
-
A HUGE part of my course covers what to do if plans change.
One of the biggest fears I hear from mums to be is how they’ll cope if plans change, whether that’s ahead of time or on the day.
So we talk through all birth options, so you know what to expect and can think about your preferences for each. How to ask the right questions to make sense of any unexpected changes and what it means and tools you can use to stay grounded instead of panicking.
We also talk about birth processing, so if birth does take a tricky unexpected turn you can learn how to process that after.
-
Yes - one birth partner is welcome to attend! But please don’t worry if they can’t make it, I have had Mums come alone too.
-
Not at all, I’ve had a real mix of first time parents and second/third time parents too!
A lot of the time I find second/third time parents have had a difficult previous experience and come to me because they want this birth to be different.
What you’ll learn with
my classes section
This isn’t about throwing loads of information at you or teaching you one ‘right’ way to give birth. It’s about helping you feel steady, informed, and able to handle whatever your birth looks like.
Inside my courses, everything is broken down into four clear areas:
Inside my classes, we focus on four key areas:
Understanding How Birth Works: Learn what's happening in your body during labour, what supports the birth process and why understanding this can make birth feel less frightening and more manageable.
Practical Tools To Stay Calm: Breathing techniques, relaxation tools, movement, positioning and mindset strategies that help you feel more grounded when intensity builds.
Understanding Your Choices: Learn about your options, rights and how to make informed decisions without feeling rushed, pressured or unsure.
Handling The 'What Ifs': Because birth doesn't always go exactly to plan. We'll look at how to stay adaptable, make decisions confidently and feel in control whatever direction your birth takes.
It’s your turn to:
Walk into birth feeling steady and in control
No more nodding along in appointments or second-guessing yourself after. You’ll know what your options are, what feels right for you, and how to ask questions or say no without it feeling awkward or overwhelming.
Feel clear on your options and confident speaking up
This isn’t about everything going ‘to plan.’ It’s about being able to adapt if things change. So you still come away feeling positive, involved and empowered by how you handled it.
Handle whatever your birth looks like without spiralling
No more overthinking every possible scenario or wondering if you’ll cope. You’ll understand what’s happening in your body, know how to handle contractions, and feel grounded instead of panicked when things start.
