This is more than your average birth prep

The Confident Birth Club is antenatal education, emotional wellbeing support and practical guidance for navigating pregnancy, birth and the maternity system with confidence

A hypnobirthing teacher, teaching birth preparation online through The Confident Birth Club

You’re here because…

  • You're a naturally anxious person who’s ready to stop spending their pregnancy on google and wondering what to expect during birth

  • You want to actually enjoy your pregnancy and the exciting parts of becoming a mum, without constantly feeling consumed by worry or panicking about how much life is about to change.

  • But every time you try to prepare, you end up overwhelmed by conflicting advice, birth horror stories, intervention statistics, Instagram opinions and Reddit threads and then feel even more anxious afterwards.

Maybe you’ve started thinking that worrying is just part of becoming a parent now

Or maybe every time you do try to prepare, your brain just shuts down because there suddenly feels like too many choices, risks and things to think about all at once… so you sack it off altogether and tell yourself you’ll deal with it later.

But maybe the problem isn’t that you’re ‘too anxious’ or not preparing enough. Maybe nobody has actually shown you how to prepare for birth in a way that helps you feel safe instead of more overwhelmed.

The Confident Birth Club is for the mums who:

  • Have spent the pregnancy mentally on edge, rehearsing everything that could go wrong and overthinking decisions they need to make.

  • Already have loads of information saved from Instagram, TikTok, podcasts and Google… but still don’t actually feel any more ready.

  • Are capable, high functioning women in every other area of life, but struggle with the uncertainty, lack of control and emotional overwhelm that pregnancy and birth can bring.

  • Want to go into birth feeling like they can handle things one step at a time, even when things get intense.

It’s your turn to…

Take charge of your anxiety and trust that you can handle birth, whatever unfolds

Stop walking out of appointments replaying everything afterwards wondering if you should’ve asked more questions, said no to something, or spoken up about what you actually wanted.

Start understanding what’s happening during labour, how to stop panic taking over when things ramp up and how to bring yourself back instead of feeling completely overwhelmed by it.

In a few weeks time, I want you to feel like you can finally exhale a bit

Like birth isn’t the first thing your brain jumps to when you wake up in the morning.

I want you to understand what’s happening in your body during labour, know how to stop panic snowballing when fear kicks off and walk into appointments actually understanding your options instead of leaving overwhelmed and replaying everything afterwards.

And more than anything, I want you to stop feeling like you need to prepare for every possible scenario perfectly in order to feel safe.

Because the mums that tell me they had really positive birth experiences usually aren’t the ones who controlled every detail or mentally rehearsed every worst-case scenario beforehand. They’re the ones who weren’t completely thrown every time plans shifted, trusted themselves to make decisions as things unfolded and knew how to bring themselves back when fear started taking over.

So instead of constantly thinking ‘What if I panic?’ you start thinking ‘Okay… I still know this is a big deal, but I trust myself so much more than I did before’

Hiiii, I’m Holly

And as a mental health therapist and birth expert of 8 years, I'm here to help you have your best birth yet.

The kind of birth where you understand what's happening, feel confident in your choices, know how to manage anxiety when it shows up and trust yourself to handle whatever unfolds.

Because I keep seeing the same thing over and over again. Women who look completely fine on the outside but are privately consumed by birth in their own heads. They're reading the books, listening to the podcasts, saving the Instagram posts and Googling every question that pops into their minds, all in the hope of feeling more prepared.

But information alone doesn't calm an anxious brain. You can know everything about birth and still feel terrified.

What actually helps is understanding how to support your mind as well as your body, so you stop feeling like birth is this huge unknown thing happening to you.

Because when you understand what's happening, know your options and trust yourself to handle whatever unfolds, birth becomes a whole lot less frightening.

And you might be thinking…

“But what if I do all this and I’m still anxious during birth?”

I’m going to hold your hand when I say this, but you probably will still feel nervous at times during labour. Because birth is a huuuuge, unknown event that matters massively to you. So of course there will be moments when fear pops up.

The goal here isn’t to turn you into some perfectly calm Earth Mother who never feels scared or panics during labour. That’s not real life. And it’s not how our brains work.

What I want for you is that when fear does show up, you understand what’s happening instead of feeling completely consumed by it.

That instead of your brain instantly spiralling into ‘Oh my god I can’t do this’ you know how to ground yourself, understand your options, lean on your support team and take things one step at a time.

Because confidence in birth doesn’t usually come from never feeling fear. It comes from knowing Even if I do feel scared, I know what to do next’

And that’s why this course is different.

We’re not just talking about breathing techniques for labour.

We’re talking about:

  • how to calm the overthinking before birth even begins

  • how anxiety affects the body during labour and what to do about it

  • how to stay emotionally grounded when plans change unexpectedly

  • how to understand decisions without your brain instantly jumping to panic

  • how to advocate for yourself without feeling difficult or awkward

  • and how to prepare for birth in a way that feels grounding instead of mentally exhausting

So instead of trying to become fearless before birth, you start trusting that you can handle things even when they feel big, intense or unpredictable.

  • My clients stories

Meaghan told me that she always thought about the ‘what ifs’ and found switching off from thinking about the worst case scenarios difficult. She liked to feel in control but felt like this was impossible during labour as it was all so uncertain.

After doing my course and practicing the techniques, she went into labour and felt so relaxed she pottered at home until she was 7cm dilated! And her beautiful baby boy was born just three hours later.

  • My Client's Stories

Molly came to me feeling unsure about her options when it came to planning the birth of her twin girls. Like many parents, she wanted to make the right decisions but wasn't entirely sure what those looked like for her.

By the end of the course, she felt at peace with whatever path birth took because she knew she was prepared, informed and capable of handling the unexpected.

As labour unfolded, things didn't go to plan and it became an emergency. But instead of feeling overwhelmed by fear, Molly was able to stay calm, present and focused. She told me she genuinely enjoyed meeting her babies and felt confident throughout, drawing on the knowledge, mindset tools and coping techniques we had practiced together during the course.

  • My Client's Stories

Maria and Freddie, like many parents, went into birth with a plan and hopes for how things might unfold.

In the end, birth looked completely different to what they had expected.

But rather than feeling overwhelmed or out of control, they were able to stay calm, informed and involved in every decision along the way.

Afterwards, they told me they were incredibly grateful for the skills they'd learned. Although they couldn't control the twists and turns their birth took, they felt confident navigating each step as it came, knowing they were making decisions that felt right for them and their baby.

Online hypnobirthing and antenatal teacher teaching how to prepare for birth

The course covers five key areas:

You can get birth information everywhere now.

But most birth prep gives anxious women more things to think about.

I want this course to help you feel mentally lighter instead.

Because most anxious women don’t actually need more information. They need someone to help them understand what matters, calm the mental noise and feel steadier in themselves whilst they prepare for birth.

And that’s why mums choose The Confident Birth Club.

I’m not going to promise you a “perfect birth” or teach you how to never feel scared again.

But I will help you understand birth properly, support the anxious part of your brain instead of shaming it and teach you how to handle uncertainty without feeling completely consumed by it.

So instead of spending the rest of pregnancy stuck between over-preparing and avoiding birth altogether, you can start feeling calmer, clearer and more capable one step at a time.

Plus you’ll also get

Access to Birth Then Baby Online Library

Each Month you can join our live, group sessions.

Rather than trying to figure everything out alone, you’ll have regular space to ask questions as things come up.

Whether something small is niggling or something bigger feels unclear, you can get real-time guidance and hear what others are navigating too (which often answers the questions you didn’t even realise you had yet).

Monthly Live
Check-Ins

There’s a big difference between understanding birth and actually feeling steady when it’s happening.

You’ll have a set of familiar tracks and simple tools you can return to whenever your brain starts to spiral or things feel overwhelming. Whether that’s late pregnancy worries, early labour at home or moments where you just need to regroup, they help guide you back into slower breathing and a calmer headspace.

Support That Goes Beyond Information

Support doesn’t stop when the course finishes.

You’ll have a collection of go-to resources to help you prepare, make decisions and feel steady as things change, along with ongoing access to a trusted online library you can explore in your own time.

In here you’ll find guides, workshops, audios and links to everything you’d need for pregnancy, birth and into th postpartum
