You want to feel
properly prepared during Pregnancy, birth and Early parenthood
But trying to piece everything together yourself can feel overwhelming, confusing and a bit like you’re just hoping it all works out.
Whether you’re preparing for birth, looking for personalised pregnancy support or navigating those early weeks with your baby, I’m here to help you feel informed, supported and confident every step of the way.
Prefer to learn in your own time with the added bonus of live support when you need it?
Then The Confident Birth Club is what you’re looking for. A self-paced birth preparation course that covers everything from managing scan anxiety, to coping with baby blues after birth. And of course my signature hypnobirthing and antenatal bits too.
Hypnobirthing is a bit of a sh*t name for what it is
Because it makes it sound like it’s all breathing, affirmations and hoping for a calm, perfect birth.
When in reality, it’s about understanding how birth works, having practical tools to cope with labour and knowing how to make confident decisions even if things don’t go to plan.
And a huuuge part of my courses is showing you how to navigate the maternity system.
So you’re not left guessing what’s happening, rushed into decisions, or going along with things you don’t fully understand. Because you shouldn’t have to lose your autonomy in birth.
Choose the support that works best for you
Whether you’d prefer something personalised with a private birth preparation course or want to learn alongside other parents-to-be in a group, I’ve got options to suit you.

Nurture FAQ
-
Every Nurture package is tailored to you, so no two are exactly the same.
We'll cover everything you need to feel prepared for birth, including understanding how labour works, practical ways to cope, your options and how to make informed decisions with confidence.
We'll also prepare your birth partner, create your birth preferences together and make sure you feel ready for whatever direction your birth takes. Most importantly, you'll have the time and space to ask every question, work through any worries and prepare in a way that feels right for you.
-
In Nurture, we aren't just going through information about birth and sending you on your way. We're making sure you feel supported through your whole pregnancy.
Because questions don't just pop up during a class. They come after appointments, in the middle of the night, when you're choosing a pram, wondering if what you've been told is normal, or worrying about one of the many ‘what ifs’ that pregnancy can bring. That's exactly why Nurture includes ongoing support, not just teaching sessions.
We know that many families rarely see the same midwife throughout pregnancy, so it can feel like you're starting from scratch at every appointment. With Nurture, you'll have one consistent person who knows you, understands your preferences and is there to support you whenever questions or worries arise. No topic is off the table.
We'll also go much deeper than a traditional antenatal class. Of course we'll cover how birth works, pain relief and your options, but we'll also talk about how to make decisions when you're put on the spot, how to navigate the maternity system with confidence, how to get the most from your appointments and how to prepare for birth in a way that actually feels right for you.
My job isn't to tell you how to give birth. It's to make sure you feel informed, supported and confident enough to make the decisions that are right for you and your baby.
-
Absolutely. Your birth partner is encouraged to attend every session as they will learn practical ways to support you physically and emotionally throughout labour and birth, so they feel confident and involved too.
Sessions are arranged at days and times to suit your schedule
-
Birth anxiety is one of the biggest reasons people book Nurture. As a Mental Health Therapist and Birth Educator, I know that preparing for birth isn't just about learning what happens during labour. It's also about learning how to manage the worries, overthinking and ‘what ifs’ that can take over during pregnancy.
Throughout our sessions, we'll work through your concerns together, help you understand what's driving your fears and give you practical tools to feel calmer and more in control. You'll also have ongoing support between sessions, so you're not left to sit with those worries on your own. My aim isn't to take every worry away, but to help you feel confident that whatever happens, you'll know how to navigate it.
-
Absolutely not. Nurture isn't about encouraging one type of birth over another. It's about helping you feel informed, prepared and confident, whatever your birth looks like.
Whether you're planning an epidural, induction, caesarean birth, home birth or you're still figuring out what feels right for you, we'll make sure you understand your options and know how to make decisions that feel right for you.
My role isn't to tell you how to give birth. It's to help you feel confident navigating your choices and prepared for whatever direction your birth takes.
-
You can join Nurture at any stage of pregnancy, but most families book between their first scan and around 20 weeks.
This gives us plenty of time to spread the sessions out, prepare at a relaxed pace and make sure you feel ready before your baby arrives.
If you're further along, don't worry - we'll simply tailor the sessions around the time you have left.
Bloom: Personalised Pregnancy, Birth & Early Postnatal Support
If you're looking for someone to support you not only through pregnancy, but throughout your birth and into those first precious days with your baby, this is for you.
We'll prepare for birth together, but the support doesn't stop there. I'll be by your side as your pregnancy unfolds, there to support you during labour and birth and continue supporting you as you find your feet in those early newborn days.
Whether your birth goes exactly as planned or takes a different direction, you'll have someone who knows you, understands your preferences and is there to help you feel calm, informed and supported every step of the way.
With Bloom you'll:
Feel supported from pregnancy through to the early days with your baby
Have continuous support during labour and birth
Feel confident knowing someone who understands your preferences is by your side
Give your birth partner the reassurance and guidance they need to fully support you

Continue to have someone in your corner as new questions and challenges arise
-
Your Bloom package includes:
Full access to The Confident Birth Club – Start preparing for birth straight away with lifetime access to my complete birth preparation programme. This means our one-to-one sessions can focus on you - your questions, your worries and your birth preferences, rather than spending time covering information you can revisit whenever you need it.
Three personalised pregnancy support sessions – Space to talk through what's actually on your mind, get clear on your options and build genuine trust, so you know everyone in your birth space has your back. These sessions are completely tailored to you and can include hypnobirthing, biomechanics, birth education, relaxation techniques or debriefing a previous birth.
A dedicated birth planning session – We'll create birth preferences that feel realistic, flexible and centred around what's important to you, so you feel confident navigating whatever direction your birth takes.
Direct WhatsApp support throughout your pregnancy – So when you're second guessing something, you're not spiralling on Google. You've got someone who knows you and your pregnancy to talk it through with.
On-call support from 38 weeks – So when labour begins, you're not wondering what to do or when to call. You'll have someone ready to support you.
Continuous support throughout labour and birth – A calm, familiar face in the room to support you and your birth partner, help you understand what's happening and make sure you never feel like things are just happening to you.
Support in the first few hours after birth – Whether it's reassurance, feeding support within my role or simply giving you space to take it all in, I'll be there while everything still feels a little surreal.
Two postnatal visits – Time to properly reflect on your birth, answer the questions that inevitably pop up and support you as you find your feet, so you don't feel like you've just been sent home to figure it all out.

Bloom FAQ
-
Most people join between 25-35weeks and book in advance to secure their space.
There isn’t really a set rule as to when you should join, but those who join earlier tend to get more out of it as they have more time to practice the techniques and use the information and decision making skills in their antenatal appointments.
-
Your place on the course includes a full birth preparation day for you and your birth partner, drinks and refreshments throughout the day, a luxury gift bag filled with practical resources for pregnancy and birth, access to my online resource library and ongoing WhatsApp support throughout your pregnancy.
You'll also receive a hypnobirthing workbook, affirmation cards, a birth comb and aromatherapy products from Take Five Aromatherapy, plus guided relaxations, printable cheat sheets, recommended reading and birth videos to help you continue your preparation at home.
As an extra bonus, you'll also receive 20% off Sophie Dunleavy Photography.

One of the biggest misconceptions about hypnobirthing is that it's only useful if you're planning an unmedicated or straightforward birth. In reality, the tools and techniques can be helpful regardless of how your baby is born.
Whether you're having an induction, epidural, assisted birth or caesarean birth, my courses can help you stay calm, understand your options, make informed decisions and feel more confident throughout the process.
We cover all birth options in the course so you can feel prepared no matter how your baby arrives.
-
A HUGE part of my course covers what to do if plans change.
One of the biggest fears I hear from mums to be is how they’ll cope if plans change, whether that’s ahead of time or on the day.
So we talk through all birth options, so you know what to expect and can think about your preferences for each. How to ask the right questions to make sense of any unexpected changes and what it means and tools you can use to stay grounded instead of panicking.
We also talk about birth processing, so if birth does take a tricky unexpected turn you can learn how to process that after.
-
Yes - one birth partner is welcome to attend! But please don’t worry if they can’t make it, I have had Mums come alone too.
-
Not at all, I’ve had a real mix of first time parents and second/third time parents too!
A lot of the time I find second/third time parents have had a difficult previous experience and come to me because they want this birth to be different.

What you’ll learn with
my classes section
This isn’t about throwing loads of information at you or teaching you one ‘right’ way to give birth. It’s about helping you feel steady, informed, and able to handle whatever your birth looks like.
Inside my courses, everything is broken down into four clear areas:
Inside my classes, we focus on four key areas:
Understanding How Birth Works: Learn what's happening in your body during labour, what supports the birth process and why understanding this can make birth feel less frightening and more manageable.
Practical Tools To Stay Calm: Breathing techniques, relaxation tools, movement, positioning and mindset strategies that help you feel more grounded when intensity builds.
Understanding Your Choices: Learn about your options, rights and how to make informed decisions without feeling rushed, pressured or unsure.
Handling The 'What Ifs': Because birth doesn't always go exactly to plan. We'll look at how to stay adaptable, make decisions confidently and feel in control whatever direction your birth takes.
It’s your turn to:
Walk into birth feeling steady and in control
No more nodding along in appointments or second-guessing yourself after. You’ll know what your options are, what feels right for you, and how to ask questions or say no without it feeling awkward or overwhelming.
Feel clear on your options and confident speaking up
This isn’t about everything going ‘to plan.’ It’s about being able to adapt if things change. So you still come away feeling positive, involved and empowered by how you handled it.
Handle whatever your birth looks like without spiralling
No more overthinking every possible scenario or wondering if you’ll cope. You’ll understand what’s happening in your body, know how to handle contractions, and feel grounded instead of panicked when things start.
