Birth preparation for expectant mums who don’t want to just
‘go with the flow

Learn to train your mind and body for birth, through simple, evidence-based information and practical tools that will completely change how you experience birth, no matter how things unfold

you’re in the right place if..

You keep thinking ‘what if I just can’t cope?’ or wondering how painful it’s actually going to be and whether you’ll be able to handle things when labour starts. Maybe part of you feels like you should be doing more to prepare, but every time you try it either feels overwhelming, confusing, or don’t know where to start. You might be thinking I don’t even know what I’m meant to do in labour, or what if something goes wrong and I panic. And when you actually picture yourself in that moment (especially if things change quickly) it’s hard to imagine feeling calm or in control.

Here’s where preparing for birth starts to feel more simple

Most birth prep focuses on breathing techniques or giving you lots of information, but that doesn’t always help when your mind is racing or things feel uncertain. Because when you’re in the middle of a contraction, your brain isn’t exactly sitting there going “what did that article say again?” - it needs tools you’ve practiced during pregnancy, that kick in without you having to think about it.

That’s why I focus on training your mind and body for birth.

So when your brain goes into overthinking mode and starts questioning whether you can cope, you’ll know how to turn that down instead of panicking.

And when labour kicks in, you’ll know what’s happening, how to work with your body and have simple tools that help things feel more manageable.

At the same time, we’ll take away all the uncertainty around birth (the endless options, the decisions, the “I don’t know what I don’t know” feeling) and break it down into something that actually makes sense.

So instead of feeling like you’re guessing your way through it, you’ll feel clear on what’s happening, what your choices are and how to handle things if they change.

Choose the kind of support that feels right for you

Whether you want hands on support or something you can work through in your own time, all options are designed to help you feel calm, clear and confident going into birth.

Antenatal Hypnobirthing Sessions

Private or small group sessions where we prepare for your birth together.

With private sessions available in person across the North East or online and group hypnobirthing courses in Tynemouth, North Tyneside.

The Confident Birth Club

A self-paced course you can come back to anytime, where we guide you through preparing for birth step by step.

Alongside that, you’ll have live monthly support. So if questions come up or something’s playing on your mind, you’ve got somewhere to bring it instead of sitting with it on your own.

Why working with me feels different

I’m Holly, a hypnobirthing and antenatal teacher, a registered mental health therapist and Mum of two. So alongside understanding how birth works, I also understand how worry works too.

Because it’s not just about knowing what might happen. It’s about what goes on in your head when things feel intense, uncertain, or not quite how you expected. And this is exactly why I do what I do.

In my first pregnancy, I thought having a general idea would be enough. I’d picked things up along the way and assumed I’d figure it out when the time came. But when things actually got intense, I realised how different that feels in the moment and how much more helpful it is to have tools you’ve practiced and decisions you already feel clear on.

Now, I’m fiercely passionate about making sure no one goes into birth feeling like that.

So when you work with me, you’re not just getting information, but you’re learning how to actually use it, in a way that helps you feel calm, confident and in control during you pregnancy, birth and postpartum.
